Future Music Festival Asia Pre-Party

The hourglass has been tipped over and the largest music festival in Asia is looming closer. Future Music Festival Asia is a mere 2 weeks away and as punters roll-up their sleeves for 12-hours of non-stop dance mayhem, Future Entertainment revs up momentum with a sonic pre-party. Bringing the eclectic styling of rising underground prodigy DJ Maya Jane Coles to Malaysia, the very first time spinning for us in Asia.

Fresh off her UK tour and scheduled to perform in over 20 countries in 6 months, the 24 year old British and Japanese DJ has won numerous awards that will bring you to party the night away!

The upcoming Future Music Festival Asia originated from Australia and for the first time, will be heading into KL. A one-of-a-kind music festival, Future Music Festival Asia has been specially designed to cater to Asian fans. One of the biggest music festivals in the world making its debut outside of Australia featuring over 60 international, regional and local acts who will be performing in front of an expected crowd of 30,000 fans across 4 uber cool stages.

This will happen on March 17 (Saturday) at the Sepang International Circuit. The festival is scheduled to kick off at 2pm and go for 12 glorious hours of ground-breaking music, that’s right, non-stop beat-thumping music across four electrifying stages from 2pm – 3am.

FMF Asia’s debut will see The Chemical Brothers (DJ set) headlining the monster event. Other international acts performing include Tinie Tempah, Chase & Status, The Wombats, Pendulum (DJ Set), Grandmaster Flash, Sneaky Sound System, Cosmic Gate, Eddie Halliwell and many more.

The list of regional acts features some of the best in Asia and it includes, Shinichi Osawa (Japan), Jalebee Cartel (India), Nikhil+Pearl (India), Pet Conspiracy (China), Electrico (Singapore), Inquisitive (Singapore, Agrikulture (Indonesia), Sandwich (Philippines), Good Night Electric (Indonesia), Project E.A.R (SEA) and The Great Spy Experiment (Singapore).

On the local Malaysian front, we have Kyoto Protocol, Goldfish + Blink, Twilight Actiongirl, They Will Kill Us All, Mini Compo, Enterprise, Oh! Chentaku, Bud Culture, Terence C, Victor G, Fono, Bass Agents and Phil K Lee + Ian Ross.

Early Bird tickets are priced at RM138 and will stop going on sale on 29 February. The pre-sale tickets priced at RM158 will commence on 1 March and extended until 11 March. First Class tickets (VIP) will be available for purchase on 20 February.
